Leading into this event, HSIEH Chih Ying and LEE Yu-Hsuan stand out with an impressive 8 wins and 4 semi-final appearances. Lauren Lam and TAN Pearly follow closely with 6 wins each, though Lam has made more finals than Pearly. Key Clash to Watch
The quarter-finals could see a clash between HSU Ya Ching and HSU Yin-Hui versus LIU Sheng Shu and LIU Sheng Shu. This matchup is particularly fascinating given their 6-1 head-to-head record, which suggests an evenly matched battle with LIU Sheng Shu holding the slight edge.
🔮 Our Prediction
HSU Ya Ching and HSU Yin-Hui are my confident pick to win this category. Despite the slight advantage in head-to-head records favoring the Liu sisters, Hsu's pair has shown remarkable consistency throughout 2026. Their strong form leading into the tournament, along with their deep understanding of each other’s game, makes them the most likely winners.
Dark Horses
Two pairs could emerge as dark horses to surprise at this event: Yasmina Eissa and Jayci Simon, who have a solid track record of success in 2026, and Triay Pons and Brea Senesi, known for their dynamic playstyle that can catch opponents off guard.
